The flavor of the Dark Color Maple Syrup seems to be better in my opinion so when I saw that Now Foods offered it for a fair price, i jumped right on putting it into my iherb basket. This morning we opened it up to put on our Sunday pancakes and WOW, it was so flavorful. the color and taste was so much better than the variety we had before. I prefer using organic products and this fit the bill. Using it in recipes will be great. Add a teaspoon to summer slaw or baked beans for a treat.

This has no preservatives so do not think you can store this at room temperature after opening like store bought syrups. Tastes a little lighter than regular maple syrup but the benefit of grade a dark syrup is a lot healthier. This is the syrup used with cayenne pepper for dieting.
